Summer is here! For everyone firing up the grill this Summer Ā and looking for a fresh twist on your basic burger recipe – try out this turkey burger stuffed with quinoa, feta cheese, spinach, red onion, and sun dried tomatoes. Topped with cucumbers and a simple homemade tzatziki sauce!
Greek Tzatziki Turkey Burgers
Ingredients
Burger Patties – combine in large bowl
- 1.25 lbs ground turkey (or chicken)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup spinach, diced
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta
- 7 halves sundried tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium red onion, diced
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
Tzatziki Sauce – mix together
- 1 cup plain non fat Greek Yogurt (I used Siggis)
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook burgers stovetop or on an outdoor grill, top with sauce and cucumber, and enjoy my friends!
