Greek Tzatziki Turkey Burgers

Summer is here! For everyone firing up the grill this Summer Ā and looking for a fresh twist on your basic burger recipe – try out this turkey burger stuffed with quinoa, feta cheese, spinach, red onion, and sun dried tomatoes. Topped with cucumbers and a simple homemade tzatziki sauce!

Greek Tzatziki Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
  

Burger Patties – combine in large bowl

  • 1.25 lbs ground turkey (or chicken)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup spinach, diced
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta
  • 7 halves sundried tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium red onion, diced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa

Tzatziki Sauce – mix together

  • 1 cup plain non fat Greek Yogurt (I used Siggis)
  • juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook burgers stovetop or on an outdoor grill, top with sauce and cucumber, and enjoy my friends!
